We met Erica and Chris at the their engagement last fall at Longwood Gardens. We immediately clicked and knew we couldn't wait to share their day with them at Executive Banquet Center in Newark, DE. Erica and Chris met online through Facebook dating in the fall of 2022. Their first date was at Crooked Hammock (one of our fave's as well) and Chris kissed Erica first. Later that year during the holiday season, Chris proposed to Erica at Longwood Gardens under an arch of lights. How sweet! Erica adores Chris's good looks (no doubt!), his thoughtfulness and his willingness to help others. Chris on the other hand, is very fond of how Erica makes the bed everyday, is beautiful, and wears pretty shoes. As a couple, Erica and Chris love to hang out at home with their dog, on the couch catching up on TV shows and sharing their love of the same foods.
We arrived to Erica's getting ready greeted by Erica and her whole squad including, Mom, Dad, and Grand-Mom. We also discovered this heavenly cucumber and dill sandwich that we loved. We enjoyed it so much, that Lauren got the recipe and made it the next day for father's day. Chris and the groomsmen arrived to Executive Banquet Center in style with a limo and you know we had to get photos of that! After the guys finished, the limo went down and picked up Erica and her girls and brought them to the Executive Banquet Center. Before the ceremony, Chris had a little photoshoot with the guys which included a tribute photo to The Beatles' lengendary Abby Road album while Erica and the ladies took a final shot to calm the nerves as everything was just about to begin.
The ceremony was beautiful at Executive Banquet Center. It was a very warm day on June 14th 2024, however that didn't stop family and friends from joining Erica and Chris on their wedding day at Executive Banquet Center. Guests found custom made fans at their seats during the ceremony in case they wanted a little breeze. After the ceremony, close family joined Erica + Chris at the main entrance to Executive Banquet Center for family photos. Once that concluded, Erica had a special bullet from Chris' grandfather that she put into his jacket so his grandfather would be with him on this special day.
The festivities at Executive Banquet Center continued as the bridal party entered the reception. From Erica + Chris's first dance, to the bouquet and garter toss, to the energy on the dance floor, James Moore of Dream Team Entertainment kept the party rocking the entire night. The cake that was provided by Bing's Bakery was both gorgeous and delicious. Pam and the entire team at Executive Banquet Center was a pleasure to work with and made sure the day went smooth for Erica + Chris.
